Editing an existing page or post

To edit an existing page or post on the website you first need to log in - see this page if you don't know how to log in.

Once you're logged in you need to go to the page that you want to edit.

Once you're at the page you will notice some options above the page title. Click edit.

Logging In & Logging Out

To Make any changes or updates you will need to be logged in to the site. This will allow you access to your pages.

 

Click on the four dots at the bottom of the page beside the site's name.

Enter your username and password and click the "Log in" button.

Tutorials

As the websites are still at a developmental stage the tutorials may change from time to time and while the sites were created using one template each has been tweaked to the needs and wishes of each community. So if you have any difficulty don't hesitate to contact me. I want these sites to work for you and will do everything I can to support them.

Stone Circle

Here is the final list of communities that are taking up IRD Duhallows Communities Websites Scheme.

I've linked to the sites that are live at present. At the time of writing this post all these sites are under development and would not be considered finished. Laharn is the only site that is being maintained by its community. Over the next week I'm starting to train in maintainers in bot h Bweeng and Rockchapel.

Mini Image Gallery in the Side Bar

Sidebar Image Gallery

While constructing the latest batch of the community websites I came up with a way of viewing all images uploaded to the site as a little thumbnail gallery in the sidebar. I feel it brightens up the page and encourages longer browsing times.
